Provide core platform functions (work display, search, social interactions)
Improve service experience (recommendation algorithms, personalized content)
Send notifications (likes, comments, review results, system announcements — can unsubscribe)

3. Data Storage

Servers: Located in Hong Kong (Alibaba Cloud Lightweight Server)
Database: Hosted by Supabase (USA), using PostgreSQL
File Storage: User-uploaded images stored on Cloudflare R2 (global nodes)
Backups: Database auto-backup daily (Supabase free tier retains 7 days), periodic manual SQL export to local

4. User Rights

View: View personal data at any time (Profile → Account Settings)
Modify: Modify profile at any time (username, avatar, bio, links)
Delete: Delete account and all associated data (works, comments, likes) at any time — this action is irreversible
Export: Export personal data (including works, comments, collection records)
Unsubscribe: Disable unwanted notification types in notification settings

6. Third-Party Services

Supabase: Provides database and authentication services (Privacy Policy: supabase.com/privacy)

GitHub / Google: Provides third-party login authentication
